Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in pharmacy system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices and developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practices, including entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and supporting workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies related to dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the training program and acquiring continuing education credits.
• Attending training sessions and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico), and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
