Responsibilities include:

1. In accordance with regulations, assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practice and other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching certified technicians and cashiers.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engage with customers and patients, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure positive interactions.
• Share customer service best practices with team members to enhance the customer experience.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform duties such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting with workflow scheduling.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality and dispensing policies.
• Handle sales, cash register operations, and assist customers in locating products.
• Process third-party claims and support inventory management activities.
• Assist in clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintain good relationships with the medical community and support pharmacy outreach efforts.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Follow all company policies, maintain respectful relationships, and complete assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our training program and/or state requirements; certification is a condition for promotion.
• Attend training sessions and pursue continuing education to stay current with healthcare and pharmacy developments.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
