Responsibilities include:

1. In accordance with regulations, assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practice and perform other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers and patients, greet them, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform duties such as entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality and dispensing policies.
• Handle sales transactions and assist customers in locating products.
• Process third-party claims and support inventory management activities.
• Support clinical services and coordinate with healthcare providers.
• Maintain the pharmacy's appearance and supplies, and support department relationships.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our training program and/or state requirements.
• Attend training and acquire continuing education credits to stay updated on healthcare developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
