Responsibilities:

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience:

1. Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
2. Model and share customer service best practices to deliver a memorable customer experience.
3. Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations:

1. Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
2. Perform duties such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
3. Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to policies regarding pharmacy errors and quality improvement.
4. Handle sales transactions, including cash handling and assisting customers in locating products.
5. Process third-party prescription claims and support inventory management activities.
6. Assist in clinical services and coordinate with healthcare providers as needed.
7. Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and uphold company policies.
8. Complete special assignments and additional tasks as required.

Training & Personal Development:

1. Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification, with promotion contingent upon certification.
2. Attend training sessions and acquire continuing education credits to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico), willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
