Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assisting with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if PTCB certified.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practice under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies, and performing duties such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and managing workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately, adhering to policies, and handling sales and cash register duties.
• Processing third-party claims, supporting inventory management, and assisting in clinical services and outreach activities.
• Maintaining pharmacy cleanliness and supplies, and supporting relationship-building with healthcare providers.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education, and earning certification as a condition for promotion.
• Attending training sessions and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
