Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Michigan Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by PTCB preferred.
• At least one year of retail pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and distribute medication orders per requests.
• Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies.
• Maintain logs and documentation; handle phone and cash transactions.
• Prepare IV admixtures and sterile products.
• Process medication charges and credits per policy.
• Basic pharmacy computer order entry.
• Participate in training and evaluation of pharmacy students/residents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
