SpartanNash in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist licensed pharmacists by preparing medications and managing patient profiles. You will count, label, stock products, process insurance claims, and provide customer service to ensure efficient checkout and patient satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and state registration or certification, with 1 year of pharmacy-related customer service preferred. Full-time position in a retail setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of pharmacy-related customer service experience preferred; must have state registration or certification.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Stock and inventory medications (prescription and OTC).
• Notify Pharmacy Manager to reorder supplies.
• Receive prescriptions/refills from patients.
• Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, package and label products.
• Maintain customer profiles and complete insurance forms.
• Operate cash register, display costs, and issue receipts.
• Maintain department cleanliness and stocking.
• Abide by HIPAA and legal policies.
