Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives as directed.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgement.
• Provide excellent customer service during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Handle cashier operations including electronic payments, cash and checks.
• Follow guidelines for vendor coupons, shrink, and cash handling policies.
• Answer phone calls and triage inquiries.
• Complete billing procedures to maximize value for customer and company.
• Prepare products and maintain clean, organized workstations and waiting areas.
• Manage computerized medication inventory and ordering from wholesalers.
• Comply with safety and sanitation regulations according to applicable laws.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management as needed.
