Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in CVS Retail stores. You will help ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, provide friendly customer service, and follow SOPs to support pharmacists and patients.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, assisting with immunizations and patient interactions, and maintaining inventory under state regulations. This role requires state licensure/certification and a dedication to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and patients with empathy, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation and support pharmacists in daily operations.
• Maintain attention to detail in labeling, dosage, and patient information.
• Assist with inventory tasks and distributing medications as directed by the pharmacy leadership team.
• Demonstrate communication and teamwork to deliver a positive patient experience.
