Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and efficient prescription services in our Retail stores. You will assist with workflows, inventory, and patient interactions, while maintaining compliance with state regulations and company SOPs.

The role emphasizes accurate dispensing, empathy with patients, and opportunities to support immunization services where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic, caring service across pick‑up, drive‑thru, and phone interactions.
• Complete basic inventory activities including cycles counts, returns‑to‑stocks, and waiting bin inventories.
• Contribute to a high‑performing team and be receptive to feedback; support clinic services where allowed.
