Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our retail store team. You will support pharmacists in filling prescriptions, customer service, immunizations, and other pharmacy services to ensure safe, accurate and timely patient care.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining inventory, handling transfers, and communicating with patients and colleagues with empathy. The role requires a high school diploma and state licensure/certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements governing pharmacy practice.
• If state board does not address minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation for safe prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic customer service and assist patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with immunizations and other vaccine-related services as allowed by law.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform basic stock/returns activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients and pharmacy team to ensure safe care.
