Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering accurate prescriptions, safe medication handling, and compassionate patient service in our retail stores.

The role involves following SOPs, maintaining inventory, and assisting with immunization services where permitted, with required state licensure and certification. Hybrid training is provided, and travel may be required across the market.

Qualifications

• Must meet state board of pharmacy requirements, age, education, and licensure.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety.
• Delivering compassionate patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Contributing to inventory activities like deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety across shifts.
• Remaining flexible for scheduling and traveling to stores as needed by the business.
