Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient service in our retail stores. You will follow standard SOPs, assist with inventory, and help expand services such as immunizations where permitted by state law.

The role requires completion of required training, state licensure and certification, and flexibility to cover shifts across market stores.

Qualifications

• Must meet state board pharmacy requirements and be at least 16 years old if required by state law.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state and locality.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly and safely.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflows at all workstations.
• Deliver empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and by phone.
• Manage basic inventory and cycle counts as directed.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by law and training.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
