Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering fast, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment across their stores. You will engage with patients, comply with SOPs, and help maintain inventory while contributing to a compassionate, inclusive culture.

The role requires completing training and meeting state licensing requirements, with opportunities to provide immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted by law and certification.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage patient health.
• Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver patient experiences with empathy and care across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone channels.
• Complete basic inventory tasks such as restocking and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and stay open to feedback; expand clinical and technical knowledge.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed by the business.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Provide additional health care services where allowed by law and training.
