Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient care. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, patient service, and collaborative teamwork within our stores.

You will assist with inventory, billing, and basic immunization support where permitted, while meeting state licensure and certification requirements. Training and compliance are core to the position.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice.
• If state board requires minimum age, follow it.
• If no minimum education is specified, must have a high school diploma or be enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and assist pharmacy team to ensure accurate dispensing.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow to ensure safe prescription fulfillment.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences with empathy and care across pickup, drive-thru and phone.
• Perform basic inventory activities and help with returns-to-stocks and cycle counts.
• Support immunizations and other services where legally allowed and trained.
