Job summary

CVS Health Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help maintain efficient store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires compliance with state board rules, pharmacy licensing, and ongoing training. Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork are essential for success in this full-time position

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Contribute to patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care during pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions
• Assist with pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and with proper training and certification
