Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care within our retail stores. The role emphasizes SOP adherence, inventory handling, and proactive service across pickup, drive-thru, and phone channels.

Candidates must meet state licensing requirements and be prepared to complete required training and certification.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic and caring patient service across pickup, drive-thru, and phone interactions
• Assist with basic inventory activities and proper stocking/returns-to-stocks
• Support team growth, be receptive to feedback, and expand clinical and technical knowledge
• Remain flexible for scheduling needs and travel to stores as required
• Comply with applicable laws and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional health services where allowed by law and training
