Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service across store operations.

As part of the role you will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists with vaccines when qualified, complete required training and certification per state guidelines, and contribute to a patient‑centered, inclusive service culture. Travel to other market stores may be required to cover shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Communicate with patients and colleagues in a friendly manner
• Perform basic inventory and cycle counts
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel as needed
• Adhere to laws, regulations and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted
