Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and building rapport.
• Handle inquiries that do not require a pharmacist's expertise and judgment.
• Accept new prescriptions and telephoned refills under supervising pharmacist guidance.
• Contact doctors for refills as needed and verify patient information for prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products and labeling.
