Job summary

Johns Hopkins Care at Home, part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, is hiring an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory management under the direct supervision of pharmacists.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalency; registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy on hire; certification within 2 years by PTCB or NHA; and 6 months of experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.
• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experienced preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory management under direct supervision.
• Support medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalency

Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration

PTCB or NHA certification within 2 years

6 months experience preferred

Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.
