Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management under the direct supervision of pharmacists. The role requires Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration on hire and certification within 2 years of starting, with 6 months of experience preferred but not required.

The position offers rotating 8-hour shifts, inclusive of weekends, in a patient‑centered environment at Johns Hopkins Health

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.
• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support medication preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory management under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with diverse tasks to ensure smooth operation of the outpatient pharmacy.
