Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its pharmacy micro-fulfillment centers, using robotic tech to dispense and ship prescriptions to Walgreens stores. The role provides order processing support and assists in preparation and distribution of medications in a central pharmacy setting.

You will follow SOPs, enter patient data, support pharmacists, and help maintain equipment. A licensed technician within 90 days is required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic PC skills to start up/shut down computers, navigate programs, save/print files.
• Basic search engine use and online form filling.
• Keyboarding at least 25 WPM, touch typing.
• Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds; flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registrations using Walgreens entry procedures.
• Enter refill orders and troubleshoot missing information.
• Run automated machinery and sort medications with quality focus.
• Count, label, pack and ship prescriptions; maintain clean workspace.
