Job summary

Walgreens is leveraging robotic micro-fulfillment centers to streamline prescription processing and distribution across its stores. The role focuses on order processing support, data entry, and collaboration with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and compliance in a central fulfillment environment.

You will support registration, process prescriptions, handle inventory transitions, and assist pharmacists at multiple locations while adhering to SOPs and HIPAA rules.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain registration with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
• PTCB or CPhT certification.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic PC skills and data-entry capabilities (keyboard and browser use).
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; flexible shift.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registration and enter data into the system in line with HIPAA guidelines.
• Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory between workflow stages.
• Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack and ship; maintain clean, orderly area.
• Resolve third party rejects by reviewing and resubmitting per plan requirements.
• Provide assistance to Pharmacists at the facility and other locations; escalate issues to senior staff.
