Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its pharmacy micro-fulfillment centers, leveraging robotic technology to dispense and ship prescriptions to Walgreens stores. The role supports order processing, data entry, and medication preparation within a centralized, HIPAA-compliant facility.

You will assist pharmacists, operate fulfillment systems, and help maintain equipment while pursuing a pharmacy technician license within 90 days. This is a full-time, on-site position in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic PC skills (start up/shut down, mouse navigation, printing, online access).
• Basic search engine skills (open browser, navigate, bookmark, fill forms).
• Intermediate keyboarding (≥25 WPM).
• Able to push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible shift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registrations in the system per Walgreens procedures.
• Handle prescription requests and refills, resolving data-entry exceptions.
• Operate automated machinery and sort medications in workflow.
• Provide support to pharmacists at multiple locations as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information and data.
• Resolve third-party rejects by gathering information and resubmitting.
