UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide technical and supportive skills in operating the pharmacy. The role covers shifts from early morning to late evening on a PRN basis, with responsibilities spanning compounding, dispensing, inventory, and patient service.

The position requires a high school diploma, 1 year of pharmacy experience, and registration as a Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician or as a Pharmacist Intern upon hire, along with BLS

Responsabilidades

• Performs duties in accordance with organizational policies and standards.
• Coordinates daily workflow in assigned area and provides leadership to other technicians; performs extemporaneous compounding.
• Fills all orders, processes IV admixtures using aseptic technique, and delivers medication on time.
• Audits and signs out all controlled substances in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Assists with ordering, managing and monitoring drug inventory; supports training and orientation.
