Job summary

UCI Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document, and label drug products under direct supervision of a Pharmacist. The role includes data entry, filing, and involvement in drug purchasing and inventory control.

Responsibilities extend to supporting Pharmacy Department improvement projects and collecting workload data as required, contributing to high-quality patient care in a premier academic health system.

Qualifications

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate required.
• Degree or certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail needed in drug preparation and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Perform data entry and filing related to the process and assist with drug purchasing and inventory control.
• Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects and collect workload data as required.
