Job summary

UCI Health, part of the University of California, Irvine, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document and label drug products under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. You will perform data entry, filing, and support drug purchasing and inventory control, contributing to department performance improvement projects.

This role requires California Pharmacy Technician registration or Pharmacy Intern registration; preferred credential includes an accredited technician program.

Qualifications

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.
• Degree or certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document and label drug products under direct supervision of Pharmacist.
• Perform data entry and filing related to the process; assist in drug purchasing and inventory control.
• Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects and collect workload data as required.
