Job summary

UC Irvine Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document and label drug products under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist. You will perform data entry and filing and assist with drug purchasing and inventory control, contributing to performance improvement projects.

Required California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration or Pharmacy Intern Registration; preferred completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.

Qualifications

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.
• Experience in a hospital/academic health system is a plus.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document and label drug products under direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Perform data entry and filing; assist with drug purchasing and inventory control.
• Support Pharmacy Department performance improvement projects and workload data collection.
