Job summary

UCI Health, part of the UC Irvine Health system, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, and label medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist. You will handle data entry, filing, and participate in inventory control procedures while supporting performance improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidates hold a degree or certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program and possess California board registration or intern registration.

Qualifications

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.
• Experience or education aligning with hospital pharmacy operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Perform data entry and filing related to the process and conduct duties in drug purchasing and inventory control.
• Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects and collect workload data as needed.
