Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document and label drug products under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, and to support data entry, purchasing and inventory control processes in a high-volume academic health system.

The role involves participating in Pharmacy Department Improvement programs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to support patient care.

Qualifications

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.
• Degree or certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Technician will prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Performs all required data entry and filing associated with the process and performs functions related to drug purchasing and inventory control procedures.
• Technician will participate in the Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs and collect data for workload measurements as needed or required.
