Job summary

Hy-Vee in Lakeville, MN is seeking a part-time Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists with prescription processing, insurance billing, and inventory. You will learn hands-on while gaining experience toward national certification, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

You will handle labeling, processing, and insurance tasks, assist with vaccines where allowed, and collaborate with teammates to ensure a helpful, compliant pharmacy operation in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working toward licensed technician certification through a national program required.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy clerk preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products under supervision.
• Handle prescription processing, insurance billing, and filing prescriptions.
• Order, stock, and log pharmacy supplies; maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the dispensing area and assist in other duties as needed.
