Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore's Bayview Campus is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution, and maintaining inventory and records.

This full-time night-shift position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Maryland State Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician, PTCB certification, and preferably six months of hospital experience or completion of a technician training program. Benefit package included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of hospital experience preferred.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy routines, procedures, materials, terminology and medication names.
• Current Maryland State Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and packaging of medications.
• Support distribution and delivery of medications.
• Maintain inventory levels and keep appropriate records and documentation.

• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.

• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified required.
