Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support inpatient medication distribution and preparation in a hospital setting. You will assist pharmacists, handle sterile and non-sterile compounding, and help ensure timely delivery of medications to inpatient units.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, MA Board of Pharmacy registration, PTCB certification, and at least one year of pharmacy experience including sterile compounding.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard pharmaceutical terms and abbreviations.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
• At least one year of pharmacy experience including sterile compounding.

Responsabilités

• Assist Pharmacists in preparation and distribution of medications in inpatient setting.
• Repackage/compound medications per procedures.
• Maintain inventory and check for expired meds; notify pharmacy buyer as needed.
• Answer calls, triage requests and resolve questions.
• Support department quality improvement initiatives.
