Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support safe, efficient, patient-centered care in a hospital setting. Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, you will prepare, label, dispense medications, manage inventories, and assist in non-sterile compounding and IV admixtures.

You will work with Pyxis, Epic, and other systems, handle hazardous meds per safety rules, and participate in QA activities, training new technicians, and process improvements aligned with WE CARE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Tech License or trainee/intern license required.
• 18 years of age or older and eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Fill, pickup and deliver patient-specific medications; manage packing and tracking.
• Support pharmacist and improve patient care outcomes.
• Prepare, label, and deliver medications using Pyxis and Epic.
• Maintain inventory and proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Train new technicians and participate in quality initiatives.
