Burlington, MA at Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a full-time Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for inpatients and infusion clinics. You will help fill orders, ensure correct delivery to units, and perform sterile and non-sterile compounding as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Massachusetts pharmacy licensure or PTCB certification, and experience with electronic medical records.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy licensure or PTCB certification required or a Pharmacy student in good standing with Mass. internship license.

Responsabilidades

• Assists Pharmacists in preparation and distribution of medications.
• Repackages and compounds medications as needed per procedures.
• Maintain inventory levels and rotate stock to ensure availability.
• Answer telephone calls, triage requests, and resolve questions.
• Participate in quality improvement activities within the department.
• Ensure correct stock levels meet patient needs.
• Adhere to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center policies and department guidelines.
