The Pharmacy Technician shall be responsible to perform most of the technical functions involved in the medication use process. This individual shall assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and compounding of pharmaceutical products, assessing inventory of pharmacy products, and resolving problems with insurance claims as they arise during the dispensing function, as applicable to location. Cross training in one key functional area [examples provided in Technician Career Ladder]. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience required.
Active ALBOP Pharmacy Tech certification required, CPhT certification required
