The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of pharmacy technician experience, and valid ALBOP registration with CPhT certification.

The Pharmacy Technician shall be responsible to perform most of the technical functions involved in the medication use process. This individual shall assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and compounding of pharmaceutical products, assess inventory of pharmacy products, and resolve problems with insurance claims as they arise during the dispensing function, as applicable to location. Cross training in one key functional area [examples provided in Technician Career Ladder]. The Pharmacy Technician III shall train new staff, and cross train in two key functional areas. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
