The Pharmacy Technician I performs the technical functions involved in the medication-use process. This role assists the Pharmacist in preparing and compounding pharmaceutical products, manages inventory of pharmacy products, and resolves insurance claims as they arise during dispensing. Additional duties within the scope of the role may be assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Active ALBOP Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required, or Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
