Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy certification.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse professionals.
• Experience with computer systems including MS Office and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, process prescription orders and prepare medications.
• Assist with third-party transactions and related documentation.
• Filling, pickup and delivery of patient medications in a timely manner.
• Obtain information for new prescriptions and reconciliations in compliance with laws.
• Refer clinical questions to a pharmacist promptly.
• File prescriptions, records and logs according to policy and law.
• Maintain cleanliness in all pharmacy areas and supplies.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures; adapt to changing needs.
• Assist with enrollment processes for patient support programs when applicable.
