Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for Per Diem Rotating shifts in Boston, MA. Under a pharmacist's supervision, you will process prescriptions, assist with third-party transactions, and handle patient-specific medication pickup and delivery.

A MA Board of Pharmacy license is required, with 0–1 year of experience preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with computer systems (MS Office) and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active state Pharmacy Board certification in MA required.
• 0–1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders under pharmacist supervision in a timely manner.
• Assist with third-party transactions and documentation.
• Fill, pickup, and delivery of patient-specific medications and maintain packaging and tracking.
• Obtain information for new prescriptions and reconciliation; support clinical questions to pharmacist.
