Job summary

Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join our hospital-based team. You will assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications and help maintain patient records in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license; CPhT preferred. We value attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safe, accurate medication handling.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) preferred; must become certified within 2 years of initial licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications.
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses.
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.29 - $31.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Pharmacy Technician I
• Location: Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, IL
• Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
• Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts; weekend and rotating holidays

What you will do:

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies

What you will need:

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions
