Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for the Swedish Hospital location in Chicago, IL. This per diem, as-needed role involves rotating shifts from 8:45 am to 7 pm, with travel to other Endeavor Health outpatient pharmacies as required.

You will assist the pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications, maintain patient records, and manage inventory and labeling of doses in a hospital/retail setting.

Qualifications

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; must become certified by passing the PTCB or board-approved exam within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred; retail experience preferred for retail positions.

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications.
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses.
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.29 - $31.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
