Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I, Retail at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This part-time position supports pharmacists with dispensing medications, maintains patient records, and manages medication labeling and packing.

The role requires an Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred CPhT certification with a plan to certify within 2 years. Prior hospital or retail experience is valued.

Position Highlights

• Position: Pharmacy Technician I, Retail
• Location: Glenbrook Hospital
• Part-time: 40 hours per 2 week pay period cycle
• Hours: Rotating Shifts Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 6:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm; rotating holidays
• Travel Required: Yes

What You Will Do

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies

What You Will Need

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions
