Job Overview

Salary: $34.00 hourly. Location: Aiken County, SC. Job Type: Temporary – Part‑Time. Agency: Aiken Technical College. Division: Health Sciences. Opening Date: 01/01/2026. EEO Statement: Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands‑on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks such as reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Prepare and maintain current course syllabi for courses taught.
• Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend instructional materials and laboratory facilities for assigned courses.
• Supervise students.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree required. Applicant must have graduated from an American Society of Health‑System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited program, be a Certified Pharmacy Technician, and have at least three (3) years of experience in the type of pharmacy setting for which they are training students. Applicants must also serve as a liaison between clinical sites and the program director to ensure that students receive the intended educational experience and are effectively evaluated. Travel to various clinical agencies within the CSRA is required.
