Job summary

Aiken Technical College is seeking Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructors to join our team. Classes may be scheduled daytime, evenings, weekends, or online, with possible split schedules for morning and evening sessions and dual enrollment in high schools.

Responsibilities include hands-on and theory instruction, managing classrooms, and developing syllabi and lesson plans. Minimum qualifications require a Bachelor's or Associate's degree with AST certification and 3 years of clinical

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an Associate's degree with demonstrated competencies and AST certification in surgical technology with 3 years of clinical experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently is essential.
• Duties include hands-on instruction, theory, classroom management, and development of reports, syllabi and lesson plans.

Join our team! Aiken Technical College is recruiting Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructors.

Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or an Associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in a related field and currently AST certified surgical technologist with three (3) years of clinical surgical experience required. Ability to communicate effectively and work independently is essential.
