Zusammenfassung

Aiken Technical College is seeking Medical Assisting Adjunct Instructors to join our team. Class schedules will vary by semester and may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online, with potential split schedules and dual enrollment teaching in high schools.

Responsibilities include hands-on and theory instruction, classroom management, syllabus/lesson plan development, and supervision of students. A CMA or RMA certification and a healthcare-related Associate's degree are required.

• At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare facility
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or RMA certification required.

Job Responsibilities

Join our team! Aiken Technical College is recruiting Medical Assisting Adjunct Instructors.

Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught.
• Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
• Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.
• Supervision of students.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

Associate's degree in a healthcare related field, three (3) years of experience in a healthcare facility and a current certification as a CMA through the AAMA or RMA through the AMT required.
