GRX Holdings, LLC is a fast-growing, family-oriented group of independent pharmacies seeking a Full-Time, up to 40 hours per week, Pharmacy Technician to work at our Medicap Pharmacy in Winterset.

We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician to process and fill prescriptions, assist the pharmacist under supervision, and perform technical functions such as measuring, counting, labeling, record keeping, and communicating with patients and healthcare professionals. Customer satisfaction is key, so we value technicians who are motivated, able to multitask, and possess excellent customer service skills.

We offer a highly competitive pay rate based on experience, with no nights, Sundays, or holidays, and some flexibility in scheduling. Benefits include 401k with company match, employee discounts, and other perks. Full-time positions come with Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.

Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Although the position is listed as "Certified Pharmacy Technician," we encourage applications from both certified candidates and those without experience, with compensation adjusted accordingly.

Responsibilities

1. Follow company policies, including register performance, security, and confidentiality
2. Greet customers and answer questions
3. Receive and validate prescriptions
4. Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy
5. Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims
6. Select medicines and measure dosages for prescriptions
7. Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory
8. Perform administrative tasks as needed
9. Comply with security and quality standards
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Skills
