Job summary

Chartwell Pharmacy LLC dba Serviam Pharmacy of Council Bluffs is seeking experienced and licensed Pharmacy Technicians to join our closed door long term care LTC pharmacy team. You will receive prescriptions, verify accuracy, and input data into Framework LTC while assisting customers.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, excellent organization, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Prior LTC or long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in Iowa or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with pharmacy terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions, verify accuracy, and input into the Framework LTC system.
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of medications.
• Receive and log incoming inventory and store it correctly.
• Maintain patient profiles and pharmacy records.
• Answer phones and address customer inquiries.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and licensed Pharmacy Technicians to join our closed door long term care( LTC) pharmacy team!
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be receiving incoming prescriptions, checking for accuracy, and inputting that information into our Framework LTC system. You will also be answering customer questions and concerns. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive written and faxed prescriptions from both patients and doctor’s offices, verify the information is accurate, and input it into the system as needed
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications in the pharmacy
• Receive incoming inventory, verify the accuracy, log it within the system, and put it away as needed
• Maintain proper pharmacy records, including patient profiles, inventory logs, and more
• Answer phones and handle customer inquiries, referring to the pharmacy as needed

Qualifications

• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology desired
• Have an Iowa Pharmacy Tech license or ability to procure one.
