  • Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, creating personalized moments, offering immunizations, and demonstrating compassionate care.
  • Complete basic inventory activities—such as accurately putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks, and waiting‑bin inventories—as directed by pharmacy leadership.
  • Work with a growth mindset, seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge, and actively provide feedback.
  • Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including voluntary travel to other stores.
  • Understand and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards; safeguard patient privacy and security.
  • Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, off‑site clinic staffing) where allowed by law and supported by required training and certification.
Additional Responsibilities – Immunizations (if applicable)
  • Obtain Technician Immunizer status through required licensing and training.
  • Educate patients on vaccine importance and refer to pharmacist‑on‑duty for questions.
  • Monitor and respond to adverse reactions; report events as required.
  • Collect and document patient information; manage vaccine supplies.
Required Qualifications
  • Comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
  • State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age if no minimum age is required by state law.
  • Must have a high school diploma, equivalency, or be actively enrolled if no minimum education is required by state law.
Essential Functions
  • Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to complete required training within a designated timeframe.
  • Attention & focus: concentrate on tasks, pivot quickly, ensure prescription accuracy.
