Ascension Cedar Park Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the inpatient pharmacy team. You will accurately prepare, compound, and dispense specialty medications to ensure patient care continuity and safety.

You will manage inventory and automated dispensing systems, coordinate benefit investigations and prior authorizations where needed, and educate patients as part of the care team.

Competenze

• Education and credentials as listed under Licensure / Certification / Registration.
• Experience with hospital pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Commitment to accuracy and patient safety.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • One or more of the following:
    • Intern Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• IV/Sterile Compounding Certification
• Inpatient Hospital Experience
